As a writer, I see life as an exciting story and each new day as an opportunity for new adventures. I certainly don't intend to miss my chance to experience the wonderful openings for learning, growing, and exploring the infinite world around me. I am a huge fan of traveling and as a former military linguist, I know a lot of languages and have been to lots of countries, but there is so much more I want to see. I would love to cruise Alaska, scuba dive in the Great Barrier reef, or hike to the waterfalls of Hawaii. I also like to experience things that stimulate my mind, learning the secrets of the solar system or just debating the nature of life and existence.
Life is full of opportunities to expand our horizons, whether traveling the world or learning a new game as a family, and I am looking for someone with who is intelligent, enjoys sharing good conversations, loud laughter, great adventures and who beliefs the old line from Star Trek "The greatest adventure facing humanity is exploration of the limitless possibilities of existence."
I come from a strong, close knit family, who taught me not to sit back and let life happen to you but to ride forward, challenge life, and strive to reach the unreachable star! We always supported each other and I would like to build the same foundation and work to teach the same lessons to my son. As such, I spend a lot of time with my family and believe strong family and moral values are at the heart of a healthy home environment. I also believe in going the extra mile to show the people around me how much I care about them and how much they mean to me. And, I would like to find someone who believes in the same things.
